I'm so glad you watched this movie. Most people hate it but its integral to the rest of the movies+tv series. Especially Tiffany being human now as she spends the rest of the franchise into the tv series (Currently on season 3 and break before the strike ended). The next movie is Curse Of Chucky which changes the tone back to series since this movie almost killed the franchise. It still is a sequel to Seed Of Chucky but it is less camp. And even stars Brad Douriff's real daughter. You will definitely enjoy it. And theres a cool ending in a special version.

Also Tiffany was redesigned because Jennifer Tilly thought she looked like Chucky's mom with botox. So Don used the oven situation into remaking her. Kinda like Child's Play 2 with Chucky.
