When Ace freaks out when he discovers Ray is Lois, they're recreating a scene from the movie "The Crying Game". They're playing the song from the movie too. It had a similar twist. Also, when he's in the dolphin pool, he's doing impressions of Captain Kirk, Scotty, and Dr. McCoy from the original Star Trek series. There's quite a few more old references and impressions in this movie than I remember.
