RSR Family y'all really made Amber Happy with this one. She loves crime shows and movies and this was right up her alley and really got me into it as well! this was such a good but cozy film and we hope you all enjoy it like we did!

Amber and Jay, thanks for prompting me to watch this film again. It's one of my favorites, but I hadn't watched it in years! Just a couple interesting points for you: 1) Don't feel bad, but you (and EVERYONE else) who watches this film were a little duped by the filmmakers. While they tell us at the outset it's a true story, it actually isn't. The Coen brothers (sort of) explained their decision to include that claim as follows: “We wanted to make a movie just in the genre of a true story movie. You don't have to have a true story to make a true story movie.” In essence, the Coens wanted to the film to carry the feeling of being a sordid true-crime drama, even if the events being presented never actually happened.🤔 2) If you ever find yourselves in Fargo, ND, you can stop by the visitor's center off I-94 and pose for a family photo with the actual woodchipper used in the film!🤣 Hope you had a blessed Easter with the family. You two would absolutely love O Brother Where Art Thou, if for the music alone. It's a great movie, funny and intelligent, but the soundtrack is to die for. Great old timey blue grass music. I'm telling you, you'd both love it.
