Cassie and Jennifer both have to go back to the present eventually, because Cassie HAS to send the tape that starts it all. And we know she eventually dies in Cole’s arms at the CDC in 2019. Jennifer has to go back so she can form The Daughters, and eventually be at Spearhead and take Hanna. Old Jennifer wasn’t talking about not taking the Daughters to Titan as her old self, when YJ asks, she says, “what did you choose when you were me.” Meaning this had happened to OJ as well. They’re in a temporal loop. Even before that, when OJ saw Deacon; “see something you like Grandma” “Not yet” while touching where the scar would be. The scar he gets for killing her. So YJ must know him with the scar. And apparently likes him at some point lol God I love this show. Ramses single mindedness can be annoying, but he firmly believes that his son is dead, so he wants to kill the fucker responsible. Everyone else actually has good intentions about saving the world, but I think Ramse would be quite happy to die and let the world burn, so long as he got The Witness first.
