The fact that the star is so young, has only one planet almost ridiculously habitable, and the planet has that huge obelisk is evidence someone fearfully advanced created it all. But it's incredibly arrogant to think they created it for them.

They would be effectively stone age. And the lack of animals means no meat which means vitamin deficiencies in their future (as vegetarians often discover). Also, their group is too small to start a new population. They'd have inbreeding and birth defects.
