It was a lot of fun seeing you two piece it together. The face reactions as you internally figured it out, even before you were comfortable enough to explain it, were priceless. A great movie, and a great reaction. I can't help but chuckle when they say Fibonacci near the start, after the reactions to the name in the Prison Break videos.

I can't remember if I'd also recommended this in the past, or seconded a recommendation. I know I have on other channels before. This is an absolute perfect 10 for me. The highest praise I could give the film beyond that. Would be to say as a Whovian, a reworking if the 'concept' of this story would have been perfect for a Doctor Who double episode. What with the perception of time in relation to affect and cause, aliens, and of course delivering on those emotional elements as well. This is a risky film to invest in when the popular go to alien movies out of Hollywood in the past 20 years have often leaned towards invasions. Great to see more Close Encounters than Independent Day and such. It's great to see that we can have these types of movies coming out of that homogenised machine that follows trends and themes. We need more friendly aliens again. Speaking of Whovian related content. Some aspects of alien design reminds me of Torchwood Series 3. Not so friendly and definitely a much much darker theme. I rewatched that recently, forgot exactly how dark it was. This obviously plays differently on additional viewings. Especially right from the beginning. The emotional component is chest hurtingly profound. The gift / weapon is the ability to knowingly walk into such pain, because you know the joy it will also bring, is an unimaginable choice to comprehend. 😢
