THE CADDY

The love the constant back and forth on Denton's character, which is particularly great for watching back with new viewers. Much like Gates, she was guilty, and both, by their very actions, corrupt officers. But also being investigated by officers whom aren't exactly in line for sainthood either. It's the fantastic shades of grey that this show isn't afraid exhibit, while they also shuffle down that very fine line. It's all part of what makes it great compelling viewing. The Stellar acting, which honestly isn't that dissimilar from a large number of UK dramas. I think series 3 promises to switch up the gears as well. So I look forward getting to that one next.

I don't think the plan was to kill Carly - just to use her threat of testifying as leverage over Dryden. But when she ran away, their next best thing was to make him think they could pin her murder on him (like they did with DCI Gates and Jackie "This bitch?!" Laverty before). It would also explain why they tried to get rid of all the DNA from her foster parents house - because it could show the body wasn't Carly. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it - this show does that.

That all sounds like sound reasoning to me!
