in case you didn't notice since it's very subtle, in the end we can see bubbles coming out of kendall's nose, so he's attempting to kill himself by drowning( there's people who say he's trying to replicate what his dad told him about the guy who died in the accident, trying to see how many minutes he needs to be under water until he dies). when this ep came out the internet went crazy wondering if kendall was dead or not

i feel part of connor's outlandish behaviour and decisions (e.g., running for president, wanting to host the perfect party) are attempts from him to get attention from his family but he never succeeds. also the visuals for the theme song are different each season. so s1 focused on kendall and s2 on shiv.
