Regarding JJ, I was shocked to see how she turned into “kung-fu barbie” overnight 😅. Apparently we’re supposed to assume that Morgan’s been training her all this time and I believe she did mention in episode 2 this season that she was supposed to replace Emily. I agree that it’d have been a good SL by showing her journey into becoming a field agent. If any member deserves some happiness right now, it’s Hotch, after all the trauma he’s been through.

Eh, JJ has always been a field agent. We've seen her in the field chasing down unsubs and storming into buildings dozens of times, so there really isn't much of a journey to be had. If anything, I would have liked to see more of the profiling training.
