Gina was the MVP through her vlogging the community in the precinct found out the cops that serve and protect there were going to be sent elsewhere. In earlier seasons it was Gina who told Amy and Holt to not use posters as community outreach talk to the people especially the minorities. Without Gina blogging pranks the 99 was going to be shot down and they didn’t know that huge amounts of drugs were about to flood their streets endangering the kids and inviting gang wars cuz of said drugs. Gina didn’t plan to video tape Holt and make the citizens call on their behalf it was a product of her prank wars. So when they called of course she told them cuz they didn’t know how to stop the precinct from gettin shut down. When it comes to stuff like this the citizens are the last to find out they don’t get a vote through Gina accidentally live streaming that speech gave the citizens the opportunity to protect the cops in their community. Without Gina the citizens had no way of knowing the tsunami of crime and drugs heading for them they would have been blindsided after the mayor told them what was happening. If in the beginning gina said I’m going to save the day all by myself I’m with u but all Gina was doing was pranking people how is she supposed to know that the community would call on their behalf. The community could have watched and did nothing her camera played a major part.
