It's such a small thing, but one of my FAVORITE things in this entire episode (which I just love start to finish) is the fact that Daizo takes photos and Root fucking SMILES AND POSES FOR THE PICTURE. I cannot with her :D In university, I actually wrote a paper on artificial intelligence and the question of humanity in science fiction, and I, at length, discussed The Machine and Root because with this episode, Root is now basically a cyborg, when you think about it! :D Human, but improved by technology to have abilities a normal human doesn't have!
