FROM CHILDHOOD'S HOUR

Comments

Ida Eriksson

This is one of the episodes that don't get enough credit. I just feel for Bobby. I wish they would have given him more time and dedicated more of the episode towards his feelings. He had to grow up so fast and his "no" when he realized what had happened and how his words were interpreted...Its heartbreaking. Its one of those cases when you really wish more episodes had a follow up, because I want to see what happened to him after this. Criminal minds has made some good choices with child actors. I also liked the side story with Rossi. We get to see the fun loving side of him and then it hits you like a punch to the gut. And he is the character thats best for this type of dilemma, because I've always seen him being the more morally grey character in the team when it comes to certain aspects. He has moments were he will push the limit way far ahead in order to get results (the story where he told a man his wife was cheating with him comes to mind). However, I would imagine that with his background (being an FBI agent and Catholic) the idea of taking an innocent life of someone he loves, even in mercy, must be difficult. It would be for anyone to be fair, but if there is someone I would want to see get through this type of storyline it would be Rossi.
