Kind of bummed you caught on about Control beforehand. It’s usually a great reveal lol bravo. Shaw and Control were working for The Machine. They were getting the relevant numbers. You’ll find out more about Samaritan next ep. As sad as it was losing Carter, this is where the show really starts hitting its stride.

This stretch of episodes continues to be amazing and what you said about the female characters on this show is 1000% true - Shaw, Root, Carter, even Zoe, whenever she drops by, and now Control. I love all the characters on this show, but I think the one that I go back and forth on the most is Finch, and this episode kind of showed why. It is okay if he wants out and can't handle the numbers thing anymore, but it is not up to him to decide for everybody else, especially knowing that there is someone in danger and Shaw WANTING to help. And it's a recurring thing - same happened with Nathan and then locking up Root - and yet Harold is still somehow the moral center of the story and the one making all the choices, even if they affect the WORLD.
