The show has 7 seasons. I like the full circle on that particular element, in the use and effectiveness of the RJ smiley face. In episode one, Jane lays down the function of the calling card and how it is designed to work. As a way of explaining why Red John isn't the killer in that case. Then here in the final episode of this season, we see how that discovery is meant to work twice, with the skywriting and the mark he appears to have left in Rosalind's home.
