Yeah I'm with you on that one. It's a fun episode. But a confession under duress would likely present problems in reality. Maybe if the confession obtained included details of the crime that would not be known to anyone other than the perpetrator. That then lead to uncovering further details of the crime. I don't think that they covered any of those aspects in this episode though. Because they mainly focus on finding the killer in this show and the unorthodox ways Jane achieves that goal. They are quite often less concerned with all aspects of the prosecution for the most part. There are better shows for the two branches of the legal system. Law and Order is one that immediately comes to mind. As well as the multiple American shows, they made a UK version of that show here as well. Which was very good. I never saw any of the US shows, but have seen others covering the two sides of the judicial system. Interesting to compare the legal systems of the US and UK.
