This is one of my least liked episodes. There's something kind of bizarre about American shows that feature characters that are actors and production crew of film and television. Certainly when they are part of these kinds of procedural cop shows. I've seen it become a bit of repeated theme. It's sort of odd to me, when it's their own industry. But often they depict them like some kind of over the top Hollywood caricature trope. The worst insult Jane could level at her was to call her acting 'a little bit soap opera.' 🤣 I've never seen this approach on a UK show. It's a bit of a too easy stereotype that actors are a bit too devoid of reality and real life.
