I meant to post this last week but the writers did explain how Freya came up with a way to kill Marcel. Freya said this to Keelin “ Thanks to my blood, Esther’s magic, Marcel’s venom, and Lucian’s ashes, I now have the weapon to kill Marcel”.

CLOSE YOUR EYES AND SING is why I say Klaus is the best father in this universe he wanted to protect Marcel’s innocence the same way Marcel did for Hope. This is why Marcel pisses me off when he says the Mikaelson’s don’t want me Klaus hates it when his siblings say he ain’t family. Marcel only knew violence when Klaus found him and adopted him. Deep down there’s a part of Klaus hates himself for turning Marcel into a vampire on the other hand Klaus did not want Marcel to die either especially at the hands of his slave owning father who shot him when Marcel came to free the slaves his sperm donor owned.
