I wanted to talk about your discussion about Sam and his guilt. I feel you guys are taking it the wrong way when he says he does not feel guilty anymore. Sam has always felt guilt for his actions throughout the seasons. The whole reason he jumped into Lucifer cage was to make up for the demon blood thing betraying dean, and releasing Lucifer. In season 6 he felt guilty for soulless sam's actions even though he did not know everything he did. But at the end of season 6 what happened? All the memories of his torture in hell for a year earth time came back. That was Sam's punishment for all his past deeds. He was in jail so to speak. So now he is free. He can moved past everything and doesn't need to feel guilty anymore because he has paid his debt for those. Do you get it. Why did Sam go back to being a hunter? Guilt over Jessica death. Why did Sam stay a hunter in season 2. Guilt over his father death. Why did Sam stay after killing yellow eyes. Guilt over dean selling his soul for him. Why did Sam stay in season 4. Revenge for Lilith killing dean Why did Sam stay in season 5 guilt over starting the apocalypse. Why did Sam stay in season 6. Souless him felt like he should hunt with family. And regular Sam felt guilty for hurting dean and Bobby. You see how Sam motivations are usually driven by guilt. Now for the first time they are not.

Dean on the other hand holds onto his guilt and can't move on from it and it all goes back to not being able to save his mom.
