Ahhhh I love this show. But I remember trying to watch this pilot episode maybe last year? I just couldn’t get through it I was watching it in the background waiting for it to grab me. I ended up not finishing the episode. Then I gave it another go earlier this year and man it’s really the camera work and cinematography that draws you in. This isn’t a background show at all. That second go watching I realised I remembered absolutely nothing which let me know that I really didn’t pay attention the first time at all. But yeah, this was a great introduction to the characters. The hand held filming and zoom ins really making this feel like a satire and it’s hilarious.

yes omg i love succession. please power through the first 4-ish episodes as they're a little slow. but once the season is over you'll be so invested. my favorite characters are definitely shiv, tom, and connor for vastly different reasons.
