Better animation than we saw on Fringe. Yes, that was a DeLorean. Sidebar---when I was in college, my best friend's uncle had a DeLorean dealership. While the car looks cool, it was a total piece of crap. Very good episode.

No it was not dubbed. The way scenes are shot is you start with a master - with a rather wide angle, capturing the whole scene. Then you reset the camera, and possibly lights - then from a close up on say Maze with Amenadiel's face in shot - then a reverse from the other close up angle - and these moves take tens of minutes to an hour to reset - and the actors have to do the lines again, and again, and again. Often with multiple takes at each camera position. The sound is recorded each time, but typically they will use the sound from the best master. So if the actor hasn't meticulously duplicated their delivery and cadence - there can be a slight mismatch on one of the close up shots of their facial movements. It's not dubbed unless there is a very bad delivery and none of the takes work in the sound recording. This is simply the result of doing say 3 takes from each of 3 different camera positions, probably over a span of 2 hours - with stand ins taking their place for focus and blocking purposes, and the actors go back to their trailer, or hang out at craft services and chill in between.... And speaking of hell loops - what is going on with the sound again? The show volume is almost non existent, and to hear it you have to put the volume at max, and then your voice is like loud enough to wake the dead! And on top of the mismatch is an annoying background sound - like a murmuring demon from Ghostbusters or a failing garbage disposal going constantly in the next room..... Jeepers - so many reactors do this - doesn't anybody listen to their recording to check that the audio levels are balanced while editing? It was about a millimeter from being unwatchable from this sound mismatch! Not only are her jokes and demeanor like Lucifer, she has a real daddy issue too - like he did for 5 seasons!
