I am glad you are already enjoying the storylines and the backstories and so on.. I just wanna say this is just the beginning and cant wait for you to discover more and more of this great show. Just a little side note, while they usually show cameras as a transition scene, when they are showing machine calculating, there is usually something worth paying attention to on screen, like for example at the last 10 seconds of this episode you can see machine recognizing that Reese and Fusco as a threat and a security breach for the System Administrator and that it is evaluating options: MITIGATE,SUBVERT, MONITOR, and it chooses monitor.., Great reaction as per usual :)

Do you know the series, Lone Wolf and Cub? That’s the English title of a long-running Japanese series. I think the original manga ran for 6-7 years and there were 6 movies, a few plays, an anime and a live action series… and probably lots of stuff I don’t know about. It began in 1970 (or thereabouts) and is still extremely highly regarded, influencing new works to this day. It’s the story of a samurai who was ordered by his master to kill some people he later discovered were innocent, his master being the true bad guy. He is forced to become a ronin and to go on the run with his three year old son, while he seeks revenge. This episode is just full of references, the most obvious one being the title, ‘Wolf and Cub’. I’m not recommending or requesting anything. I’m just mentioning out of interest.
