Root Cause- Such a fantastic episode! And I'm so happy that you're intrigued by who Root is. A fantastic new mystery! And she's most certainly something. :) I love how she has the politician who hired her killed in the end and makes it appear that he committed suicide too. I also love the moment between her and Finch in the end as well, and that she lets Finch know she's knows exactly who he is and how she is able to hack into his computers both at the library and at their secret headquarters. Absolutely brilliant! As for the main storyline with Root and the politician framing this poor guy for the murder of a congressman, making him a patsy, and then trying to kill him... I really love it, and it's a storyline I didn't see coming. What a great twist! I really feel so bad for him and his family. Thank goodness for Finch for him buying up a company who will hire him soon and give him a good job. Also... the fight scene between Reese and the hired killer in the bathroom is absolutely amazing, especially when Reese suddenly rips the hands dryer off the wall and bashes it over the killer's head to render him unconscious. Fantastic! And lastly... I really love that this episode brings Zoe Morgan back in too. I really love her from her first episode titled... The Fix, but this episode for her is just as good and I really love her character a lot. And I love her banter and chemistry with Reese. Zoe is just a great addition to this episode! :) Thank you again, Nostalgic Girl! I really enjoyed your reaction and I can't wait for more! Until next time... Sincerely, Heidi

Absolutely love this episode. With Elias and now Root the hacker, the show is setting up antagonists that might return later on and that is always a thrilling idea. Especially when these characters get away with their crimes in their first episode, on a show where the culprits (so far, at least) seem to get caught most of the time. Kinda makes Elias and Root feel immediately like a big threat, I don't know if that's just me.
