"Keep hitting him with the shovel" That's what I always say. Literally every time they just hit them once and run away (and the culprit runs after them). If that was me, I'd just take the shovel and hit a dozen time and then a few more for good measure.

The thing is, there is a difference between Morgan's situations with risking his life, and Hotch's. Like with the ambulance there was literally no other way to go about that or a whole bunch of people would've died. Here there was definitely another way to go about it, and Hotch should've put a vest on before walking in there (there was time...) I do agree that usually they'd just trust him, and that the whole Foyet situation has Morgan on edge about Hotch's behaviour (for good reason) but I also believe Morgan had a point. But also, I think from Morgan's POV, Hotch is the Leader. He's the Unit Chief. That DOESN'T make his life worth more than any of the others' of course, I think that might've been part of it too. Plus, it's been said in the past that the Team really looks up to Hotch and kinda imitates his behaviour at times (not on purpose, just because he's their Leader) and there's probably also that fear that it'll make everyone else do the same. Also, I think the fact that it was Hotch constantly bringing up the fact that Call had nothing to live for made it very easy to kinda link that to him. Even though technically he DOES as Haley and Jack aren't dead, but he has no idea if he'll ever get to see them again, and so I understand his concern...
