This episode is so painful! Those poor parents! How do you go on when one of your kids murdered the other? And their friend too. The fact that he was willing to go to Prison for something he didn't do just so his friends wouldn't lose both their kids. It's so sad. I really like that you fell for the way they were kinda pushing it to make you think it was their friend that did it. Like, I love when you figure things out quickly and really enjoy your thoughts on these things. And like I've said before, figuring out the twist before it's revealed doesn't ruin the experience of the episode, but it is sometimes nice to kinda fall for that red herring. Like, of course you did figure it out before it was actually revealed, but you did go down that road of thinking it was their friend. And that is sometimes nice. I really enjoy episodes where the Unsub turns out to be a kid though. Especially if the kid actor is good. Like that episode back in S2 with Cameron Monaghan, and then this one too. There's just something about kid Unsubs that really get me. I think it's because kids are supposed to be these pure and innocent people, they're so young and supposedly innocent. So when they're not, it's just so messed up and reminds you that "Holy shit, some people are born like this..." I really love the pacing of this episode though. The way they go through all these different things, and we really go through it with them. We kinda figure things out with them. Maybe a bit quicker though as we see it differently to the characters.
