Eh, yeah, Tyler was a pretty big dick to Caroline during their relationship. Returned, made her think he was back for good, slept with her multiple times and then proceeded to dump her right after. I can't think of a single time when Caroline did ANYTHING to Tyler *during their relationship* that would remotely qualify as being a jerk

Yeah Tyler made mistakes and made bad choices and he acted like a jerk but Caroline wasn't perfect. Tyler suffered because of Klaus. Not only was he enslaved by him but he lost everyone because of him. Caroline even had a hand in handing over one of his friends so that Jeremy would kill him to save Elena and I get that she's her friend but she then expects Tyler to be ok with that and not be mad over the fact that she accepted to go on a date with the man who ruined his life. The fact that she even tried to befriend Klaus and be flirty with him while dating Tyler is just wrong but he's the one that comes off as the jealous boyfriend. And then Klaus kills his mom and Caroline keeps having these moments with him. Like the graduation when he kisses her cheek and basically tells her that he's going to allow for her boyfriend who has been on the run, scared out of his mind, to come back and be with her. And he's expected to just forget about everything and be grateful that Klaus is letting them be together? And yes, he should have told Caroline he wasn't staying and he shouldn't have slept with her, I agree with that. But he is also the guy who broke every bone in his body to be able to be with her. The guy who spent months in the mountains trying to be better for her and her comes back to find out that Caroline has feelings for Klaus? Because why keep that drawing at all? Why try to be his friend at all? And he leaves her again because he can't let go of the fact that this man destroyed him and she sleeps with him? But I think what annoyed me the most is that Stefan says it, like he even knows what Tyler has gone through? He just knows whatever Caroline has told him. I know his humanity was off but omg that annoyed me.
