Hi guys, I've been flying for 11 hours and still have to catch another plane. I will be watching stuff tomorrow which is my Wednesday.

Actual flying time, or multiple stops? Sometimes flying is a pain with multiple connections and/or delays. And sometimes it's an adventure. Back in 1977 I went with a group to India (yes to visit a guru - I was young and foolish) - 234 people, so we chartered space on Pan Am's flight number 1 around the world. A fairly new 747-200. 33 hours on that plane, leaving from JFK, with stops at London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Tehran, and then Delhi. But it wasn't so bad - because we essentially took up almost the whole plane except for first class, people would get up and mingle or play cards, so you could lay down and snooze on several seats if you wanted to. We could go into the terminals at most of the stops whilst they cleaned and restocked and refueled the plane. Except in Tehran (before the revolution) - there we had to stay on the plane, but they had stairs so we could go outside and stretch the legs right at the plane. That was only a refueling stop so it didn't take that long on the ground. An adventure indeed - not only was the main flight from New York to Delhi 33 hours including stops, but we were coming from Toronto, and there was a Canadian Air Traffic Control strike, so we had to take a fleet of buses to Niagara Falls, and Pan Am had to get special permission from the FAA to land a 747 there as it was not equipped for the Queen of the Skies, nor was the runway long enough. And because it was not equipped for a 747, the baggage had to be hand loaded, so it took 3 hours to load. Myself and 2 friends had just recently gotten our Private Pilot's licenses and bought a plane - so while we waited for the baggage loading we asked the Captain if we could tour the flight deck - he said yes - and that was super cool! Then because the runway was technically marginal to accommodate a 747, we only had enough fuel to get to JFK plus a 30 minute reserve, and everyone had to sit as far forward as possible, so I got to sit in first class. And they did a short field takeoff! Holding the brakes at the end of the runway while spooling up the engines to full power, then releasing - it was amazing! (especially to us newbie pilots because we understood what was taking place) Anyway on top of the 33 hours from JFK to Delhi, it took us 7 hours to get from Toronto to NYC. These days flying commercial is anything but adventurous though :(

OMG thats quite the story! i had to fly from seattle to san francisco and the lfight was delayed for 2 hours. Then from SFO to Zurich which was 11 hours and then from Zurich to Prague. The last flight was also delayed and I was about to lose it.

Quite the convoluted way to get to Prague... Wouldn't it be nice to travel this way instead of the cattle car method?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VVKB39L5Gw (Private Jet Over the Atlantic to Czech Republic - Pilot VLOG 102) They are flying this [model] jet: https://www.controller.com/listing/for-sale/193254351/1997-gulfstream-givsp-jet-aircraft And their adventure continues with some amazing sight seeing in Prague then on to Dublin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFxjF0EuIzI I know, to most people these videos from the pilot's perspective is boring. But flying in a GIV (Gulfstream 4) would be way better than flying commercial or domestic - no TSA, no lugging your baggage for miles in cavernous terminals, and being pampered and VERY comfortable. Though not cheap - to charter a GIV for the flight from Portsmouth NH to Prague would be about $5,500 per hour x 7 hours or pretty close to $40k, just for that flight leg....
