Claire is to the Netflix shows as Coulson was to Phase One Marvel movies. She's the glue that held them together. Plus, it's Rosario Dawson, who I've crushed on since she played Valerie the bass player in Josie and the Pussycats.

I met Rosario Dawson at Comic Con years ago. She was just sitting at a table signing copies of a comic book she'd commissioned (and that she was in) called Occult Crime Taskforce. My actual first words to her: "Do you know who you are?" Yeah, I'm that smooth.

One thing this show loves is one shots and hallway fights, so prepare to be wowed many more times. It's only the second episode, so you know they're not gonna have their best fight yet. Get hyped!

Yep, same nurse. The events in Jessica Jones take place after this which is why, when Claire sees Jessica's super strength when she picks up Luke and Jessica says "Don't be afraid of us", Claire replies, "You're not my first."

His super power is his enhanced senses. Other than that he's a regular guy with a lot of martial arts training. Plus he inherited the ability to take a punch. Not a super power but handy.

While the pilot episode was pretty good, I think it was this one with that hallway fight at the end that cemented how good the show could be for a lot of people, that really got the hype flowing and TBH probably helped establish Netflix at the time as a home for new Marvel based tv shows imo.

I love how they show Matt is still human in fight scenes. He still gets tired just like the other fighters.
