You are confusing the unreliability of common person's ability to recall memory, and the fact memory can and does record every detail. All the detail is captured and stored subconsciously, but most (99.9%) of people have no clue or practice at recalling it. Plus the conscious mind can create false memory, or misconstrue what was recorded. There are techniques to get practiced at accessing the subconscious record, and the information recorded is incredibly detailed. So it is plausible the hell loop can be highly detailed. "it's easy, he just likes funny faces". Yes - an imposter indeed! Think of a cheesy soap opera plot with the acronym ET.... And on a personal note - please consider using headphones or speakers. You displayed a handful of incidents of asking a question which the prior dialogue already answered verbatim in this episode.
