Definitely curious to see what sort of shenanigans Walternate and Faux-livia are gonna get up to. The other world is interesting, lots of quirky things to separate them such as the use of dirigibles and super old school bicycles combined with super advanced technology.

I’d like to see a series set in the other Universe. Not necessarily a Fringe series. I’m fascinated by what we see of it. We learned that Walternate wrote his version of ZFT to cover up the truth. In it he claims their Universe is breaking down through natural causes. I’m so interested to see how the public took that news. Aside from the disasters and the ambering of tens of thousands of civilians, society seems fairly normal. People have families, go to work, eat picnics in the park and normal life continues. Most TV or movies in which the public were told the Universe is breaking apart would be dystopian hell-holes with a broken society and rampant crime because, why bother going to a job you hate every day when your entire Universe is coming apart at the seams? The story of how society managed to hold together and keep going and how people kept their positivity and continued to fall in love and build families and work towards a future that might never come, would be such an uplifting one. I’d like that.

I love the actor who played Henry and the role itself. He’s a really good actor with an incredible voice. I’ve seen him in a few things and he’s always good. The character he played was really sweet as well. What a great guy. I like your earrings by the way. I used to wear one a little similar but mine looked silly cos I was a 17 year old guy with longer hair than yours and one dangly earring. Oh dear. The significance of the pen trick, to me, was that Peter asked for the pen and the guy didn’t give it to him. The whole setup was like an interrogation more than a debrief, with the interrogator saying he couldn’t find a believable reason for Peter to come back home. I thought, when I first saw this episode, that not handing over the pen signified a distrust. You shouldn’t hand a suspect anything they could use as a weapon, or steal to turn into lock picks when they’re back in their cell. It’s such a cliché that I just assumed that was what it meant, that Peter’s status with the FBI had been changed by the events of the past three episodes. I thought it was setting up the idea that the “other side” was winning in both Universes, with Olivia having been defeated on the other side, and Faux-livia having successfully infiltrated Fringe division on this side, now we have a wedge being driven between Peter and the FBI. It was scary to think of. It was Han Solo being frozen in carbonite all over again. Exciting though!
