Overall a good episode, minus the weird Adalind stuff. I'm with you, it's a side story that is just taking time away from the main stories. I can't really add anything to your post show presentation, I pretty much agree with everything you said. It was interesting to have a non-Wessen monster-of-the-week, one that everyone could see. Unless I missed it, they never really said whether or not the kid was a Grimm, but it sure felt like it. Although I think they established early on that it doesn't manifest itself until puberty, but I can't remember for sure, and Nick was clearly far past puberty when he became a Grimm. Since they never revisit old cases on this show, I guess we'll never know.
