Is it sad that you reacting to serial killers is always the highlight of my week? :D While the episode ended happy (I guess) with the girl surviving, this was still a rough episode I feel. Like, that family is DESTROYED for sure. Off topic, your hair color is really beautiful in that vid! Also, fun fact, that quote at the end of the episode, I actually used for a term paper on fairy tales in university :D

Okay, let me go back on one of my earlier comments. I usually don't like it when Criminal minds change their normal format,but this is an exception. The small location, the very exclusive group of suspect and the fact that they didn't really try too hard to make us think that someone random took her is different in a good way. And I loved the scenes where both Hotch and Emily gets fired up and just uses all the tricks in the book to make the unsubs feel like absolute garbage. The scene with the doll was just truly hearbreaking. And it was a nice contrast to Reid and Morgan using a completly different approach with the younger boy. Love the reaction and the hair :)

I really enjoyed the way this episode came about. It was different but in a very good way. I liked that they were already working a case when this happened because it just goes to show how bad shit is always happening. Its just so awful what happened to this little girl. Hotch and Emily made such a great duo here. I love how Hotch faced that guy off and finally broke him. And then Emily did the same to the woman. I really loved this episode

I love this episode. I feel awful for both Katie and Jeremy. Katie, obviously, because she went through so much! But like, poor Jeremy. Both his parents are awful people who hurt his cousin, and made him feel guilty for taking his eyes off her. And the parents. I can't imagine how awful that must be! They trusted these people more than probably anyone. All the while, one was molesting their daughter, and the other knew about it and didn't do anything to stop it, and then ended up nearly killing her! Not only do they now have this guilt of trusting these people with their daughter, but they've probably got this feeling of loss for the people they thought they were. When I first watched it, I thought Jeremy had done it... But it makes sense how they did it. He obviously stole those earrings for that girl because he'd seen his Dad buying Katie that necklace. Now, Idk if he knew it was for Katie, but we often copy the actions we see growing up. I think that's more what they were going for with him, showing that he was picking up on what had been going on and was effected by it. I feel so bad for both the kids in this episode!

They're twins right? The brothers? That makes this way worse! Katie's been looking at her abuser's face the whole time! How the hell do you separate the two when they look exactly alike? I wish they mentioned what happened to Jeremy. Did the parents take him in? Or was he left to the system? He's a victim too. He loves his cousin, but this was his mother. I don't know if he knew about the abuse, I got the impression he did know, but it wasn't confirmed. Such a hard episode to watch, Seeing them resuscitating Katie again made me cry so hard! I don't know what's going on with the parents, are they also having marriage issues? Was he lying about an affair? Lots of unanswered questions.
