A few things to keep in mind before watching:

  • It's a long video so get a drink or something
  • There are mentions of mental health between 13:50 and 15:29
  • Yes, I have strong opinions about Elena, Damon and Delena 
  • If you don't like Stefan then you'll probably find this annoying LMAO. 
  • No, I don't think Stefan is perfect but I do talk about some things I've read about him that I disagree with. 
  • This is my first video of this nature so there may be some mistakes here and there 🤷

The Music/ song choices in TVD are soo good Most of my playlist are al TVD songs they are so freaking good and fit each situation so dam well. The plots, some extraordinary characters, great villains, some amazing plot twists, the mythology obviously music, very emotional and beautiful moments, family love - the brothers love Stefan and Damon then mother - daughter Caroline - liz, Pearl and Anna, siblings - Jeremy and Elena and friendships I love all these amazing things that this show gives us which makes for me my most favourite series 😍❤️

This was a great video! The editing was amazing I’m sure it took a lot of work but it really helped give context. I pretty much agree with most of what you said. Also, your opinions regarding Elena aren’t that unpopular. From what I’ve heard from fans and media a lot of people generally agree. I never really speak much about Damon but you brought up something that explains how I feel about him compared to Klaus. I’m not mesmerised by Damon but I love Klaus and it is down to how their bad sides are portrayed. Klaus was introduced as a villain type just like Damon but his bad actions aren’t really justified. He faces consequences. Damon also talks about him doing bad things for a reason playing a role. I think characters should be allowed to do bad things just because. You can still enjoy their characters and stories without trying to justify actions or mitigate the damage. I’m not really explaining the comparison well but you covered it lmao. And about the wasted opportunity with Klefan UGH. I really wish they explored them rebuilding their friendship. Klaus could’ve had a lot to learn from controlled Stefan. It would’ve been fun to compare their bond when they were at their worst and their best. The moment when Klaus was daggered (I think) by Stefan would’ve been such a great turning point because like you said Stefan didn’t seem to enjoy it. Plus as a black woman the treatment of Bonnie and POC on this show is so triggering and blatantly obvious. Bonnie is such a strong and gorgeous character but her entire purpose is serving others. She hasn’t gotten a chance to be “selfish”. Her death wasn’t even about her it was about protecting Elena’s feelings (until the funeral). But about Bonnies love life I’d love to see her with a strong partner! But anyway this is a long comment aha, I hope you make more of these the further along you go through the seasons and for other shows too! It’s nice to see reactors review a show in careful detail :)
