Love how you make fun of Klaus and the way he's a man-child with temper tantrums sometimes (and you acknowledge his abusive behaviour) yet you still love his character (mostly because of Joseph's performance let's be honest). I feel the same! I honestly never gave that much thought to the Marcel-Rebekah situation. Like you said they're vampires so the rules are iffy and at this point it's like whatever it's been so long since then. It's true that their romance is unnecessary except that obviously it can be used as a plot device, which is... meh, so I get your point. I never cared too much for it, I was always too busy making heart-eyes at Rebekah any time she was on screen haha (and Hayley too). Why is everyone on this show so beautiful.

I completely agree about Rebekah and Marcel. It's creepy and weird. Rebekah seemingly helped Klaus raise him, she watched him grow up and had a power over him in a way. It's basically grooming... I can't blame Klaus for being pissed... Though it wasn't for the right reasons, but still... It's just weird. Like, yeah, rules are different when you're a vampire, but I'd still say that dating someone you've helped raise, who your brother sees as a son, is weird and incesty... Like, it's not like they met him once as a child, saved him and got him set up somewhere safe then saw him again when he was an adult and they started dating. Or like Klaus raised him but Rebekah didn't know him growing up. She helped him raise him, and he is continuously referred to as Klaus' son (which I find adorable... I do love their relationship, even if it's kinda messed up at times... Because it's clear that Klaus does love him, he could easily just kill him, but he chooses not to...) and yet they had a thing. I just don't like it...
