The thing with Jimmy/Steve is I think he truly cares about Fiona and also the kids, and I think he was happy for them in that they got to be home and all that. And he did always know that if he wanted to be with Fiona, the kids would still always come first for her. But I think it's only now really hitting him. Now that it's a legal thing. And I think he was always willing to help out and all that, and I think it's part of what he loves about Fiona, but part of him probably always thought that eventually the two of them would have a family of their own, but now she's got guardianship of ALL of her siblings, and it's really hitting him that it might not happen. And I do feel for him, because it must be hard having that realisation. But he DID always know that the kids were part of the deal with Fiona and yet he still pursued her. He could've walked away before it got serious. But the thing is, he DOES care about the kids as well, as seen by all the times he'd help them out and hang out with them and all that. And he did help Fiona with getting guardianship, even though he struggled with that reality, he didn't let that be a thing, he still helped out and was there for Fiona through it. Fiona's story in the Court Room was heartbreaking. The fact that she was 6 and having to deal with that. That Ian literally could've DIED and that was on Fiona. That a six year old was left to take care of two babies (Lip is only about a year older than Ian, so he obviously wasn't that old) and had to find her way to a Hospital alone, or one of them could've died. That's just horrible. And that it wasn't the only time something like that happened. (At least as they got a bit older she had Lip and Ian to kinda help out. But at that point, she had to do it all alone...) The end scene with them all super happy and rushing out to the pool is so cute! With Ian carrying Carl and them all just being adorable and happy. Makes me sad that it'll inevitably end once they find out about the Will and the house... :(

I understand that about Jimmy and I know that he cares for Fiona and for the kids, but he needs to take a step back and think of whether or not he is prepared to be in this relationship and be supportive because Fiona is never going to choose him over her siblings. She basically gave up having a life of her own. If this is not something he wants then thats totally fair but he needs to be honest with himself and with Fiona about it. Also dont like the fact that he is sleeping with Stefania and Fiona has no idea that he is pretending to be married to her. Fiona makes me so sad, poor thing never had a life, a childhood, a chance to make it. She was 6 when she became a mom to these kids. Its so tragic. I'm happy for them but I know that bad things are coming ugh.

God, Fionas monologue in the courtroom kills me every time.
