I love this episode! So many good moments. Both funny and sad. (Reid and his chopsticks. Hotch asking Elle about her love life.) The thing I love about this show is their ability to make us feel bad for the Unsubs sometimes, while other times making us absolutely despise them. Those who have these mental illnesses, or severe trauma, I often feel really bad for them. Not to the extent of thinking they should be allowed to kill people or get away with it, I'm always glad when they're arrested. Then there are those who are just psychopaths, and it just makes the arrest (or death) so satisfying! I believe that guys parents were hurting him. I don't know if when he killed them it was self defence, or if it was revenge and fear of it happening again. But the fact that he'd been shot once, and had a gun pointed at him, and was still saying they were abusive, I believe that to be the truth. The ironic thing is, in a way, he did the same thing as what the Unsub was doing. He killed his parents because they were hurting him and getting away with it, the Unsub was killing people because they got away with crimes. My favourite takedowns are ones where the Unsub makes it out alive and is arrested. Where they manage to talk them down, or outsmart them in some way. Rather than when they have to kill them. I adore the moments of downtime in this show, where they just hang out together. They're always so cute! Morgan ALWAYS picks on Reid, and it is adorable. They're like brothers, Reid is the baby brother who they all pick on. (Hotch and Gideon are the Dads... Hahaha) The Team just gets more and more like a family and it's great. Agh, yeah. Just wait until you learn more about Reid's School and College experiences, which you will learn. You learn more about each team member as the show goes on and it's great. So yeah, I think you're right in the fact that he likes the teasing because he knows it's innocent teasing, and that they don't mean anything by it. I really enjoy the next episode. Though, uh, it's kinda tough to watch just because of the main guest star of the episode... You kinda have to look past the fact that she's a terrible person... Haha

Yeah its really amazing how they can make you sympathize with the unsubs at times, especially when they have a disorder and they cant really help themselves. Like the kid who had schizophrenia and had to drink blood? Oh I love when they use their own behavior against them, it is my favorite thing and it just shows how smart these guys are. I thought that too, that even after Gideon told him to tell the truth he still said that his parents did hurt him so I'm inclined to believe that. But the problem is that the unsub was convinced that he was guilty and no amount of evidence would have roved otherwise in his head. The voices in his head were louder than his ability to reason. Gideon was right to tell him that it would never end though and it is a sad thing to wrap your head around because you want to trust the justice system and it is a very disappointing and hopeless thing when that system fails us.
