Now that most people are in on the spy thing, the dynamic within the whole group is on the all time high, morgan stepping up with casey, chuck and sarah together, episode was all around feel good, and there's plenty more good stuff to come! I'll just add that Chuck and his Sister mostly raised each other and now she's leaving to the other part of the world presumably for 6-12months, i'd say saying goodbye in person is a big deal, especially if they were never apart for so long before and considering they did not have much of their parents growing up and what they meant to each other their whole lives. 6-12 months is a big time period and anything can happen on either side so you never know if thats the last time you'll see somebody etc. I understand where your thoughts are coming from as well, and i'm similar in real life, but i've known a lot of people who are more dependent on their family then me, and considering the relationship between chuck and his sister and how close they've been their whole life, even living together or close together up until now, saying goodbye for a brief moment is the least they would expect from each other, atleast thats how i see it from my POV :)

Great reaction! I consider this, in many ways, the "perfect" Chuck episode, even though it's not my favourite, but that's mostly because the stakes aren't that high and it's fairly light hearted. But considering the writers had to get something together quickly, and we just ended a long arc last episode: This episode is essentially perfect as their first episode properly together. The chemistry between Chuck and Sarah is just... WoW. Incredible, honestly. The sexual tension that arises when they realize they were hiding from each other, is amazing. The cute looks they share, the teamwork in tricky situations and the fight scenes while handcuffed, which practically just feels like an intimate dance. I don't know if you remember, but there was a similar type of fight scene in Season 1 between Bryce and Sarah (although, without handcuffs). I feel like this episode shows that Chuck and Sarah are on a more advanced level than Sarah and Bryce ever was. And then we have Morgan, and part of the reason why I love this show so much. How they were able to utilize Chuck in Season 1 without any spy skills, and now Morgan, by just using their characters to the fullest. From what we know of Morgan, everything he helped with in this episode felt natural. They didn't just give him spy skills for the sake of it, but actually used his character's strenghts to help Casey. Brilliant writing. And that relates to the next reason why I love this show so much, and part of the reason I consider it as good as it is. The character development. Be it Chuck, Sarah, Casey or Morgan. Our four main characters have gone through massive, but gradual and at times subtle changes, to become who they are now. Incredible, in my opinion. It's also important to me that the episode ends without a cliffhanger. Sometimes you need these happy and peaceful endings, even though I also love cliffhangers. And I love the moment at the end when Ellie asks: "You're back together!?" and Chuck replies: "We're together". It's an important distinction that Chuck removes the "back together" to just "together", as this is the first time it's actually real. I mean, you caught on to that as well! I also love the basque terrorist trying to interject having heard both sides' real truth. And good writing having him being on the run for a long time, so he could relate to Chuck and Sarah. Furthermore, I love that them going AWOL and just picking up their own mission like that, actually backfired. They can't do everything right! But as General Beckman said: "It's about damn time!", which I think is a line meant to represent every single one of us who watch this show. It's always worrying to see what happens when the two leads who have been in a "will-they-wont-they" get together, because you never know how their chemistry will be when together, and how it works on screen. But if this episode is anything to go by, then all that worry has been blown away. Lastly: brilliant cover by Jeffster this episode. Leaving on a Jet Plane was beautiful. Damn, this was a wall of text. Apologies!
