That's true about Alien in the chest burst scene. They knew something was going to happen but were still very surprised by what did happen.

It's kind of fitting that one of you weren't sure if you had seen this movie before or not. The music on this one is different for a John Carpenter movie, in that he didn't do it himself. Carpenter got the famous guy who did all the Western themes that everyone knows instead. I think this movie has to have some of the best of practical effects ever. A very forward looking movie, it had Mac Vs Windows before Windows was even a thing. A bunch of the classics you've been watching recently, like 3 Days of the Condor and The Thing, are big influences on Mr. Robot. There was even a crossover actor in this one.
