Saw this movie in the cinema when it came out, I was very bored, the only thing that kept me entertained was imagining Steve Buscemi singing "he's got the whole world in his hands"

That was a compelling quasi defense of Michael Bay! Thoroughly enjoyable! I was in high school when that movie came out, and one thing I think can't be understated was the popularity and ubiquity of that god damn Aerosmith song from the soundtrack! You couldn't escape, it was everywhere. I feel like it might have contributed to the cultural resonance and success of this movie at the time. Not sure if that has any relevance to what you're talking about here, but I thought I'd throw that out there. Love you guys!
