Oh man, I had a trip down memory lane with this one. My childhood friend, Brian, and I had a freeform imaginary game we kept up from elementary to the beginning of high school. The day we decided we were too old to keep doing it was unfortunately the beginning of the end of our friendship. Sometimes I wish we would have just continued on despite the stigma of being too old. Or maybe if we had gotten into DnD to kind of keep it alive. But my parents were vehemently against DnD....

Oh man, Griffin, that's not even CLOSE to what retrowave, but I'll let it slide. Chiptune (sometimes "fakebit" when not done with actual hardware limitations) is people making video game music, and retrowave is 80s synth music made with modern production standards (but still lots of reverb).
