Dear Michael, I have been dealing with depression and anxiety since I was about twelve. I also had a good 6 year or so bout with alcoholism that nearly destroyed my life multiple times. I am lucky I had a daughter because I am not sure if anything would have made me shape up as quickly as I needed to. I may have been trying to stop for the wrong reasons but ultimately I have found contentment in being a father and a husband. I deal with bouts of hopelessness on occasion but I must say, as a follower of your work since the very early Cracked days, I appreciate everything you have done and your work actually adds meaning to my life.
