June 2023 update: Attention Cartographers, huge Foundry VTT update! We added several wall layers to the forest, so now trees block vision. Also, a token inside the trees can se outside but the one outside can not see inside, perfect for ambushes and hidding in the trees. More info down below.

Hi everyone! Today we bring another Modular map! This time is a modular forest.
Check out our Modular Maps collection where we create seamlessly tilable maps.
You can combine all 24 tiles to create a completely seamless infinite forest as shown in the examples. Also night version included for a total of 48 tiles.
There are two main tiles, the ones with "path" and the ones without it. To connect a "path" tile with a "regular" tile you can use the "End-asset" piece, see the example below, so every tile can be combined with each other seamlessly.

Scribe tier gets the first 4 high quality tiles in Day variation, gridded and gridless.
Explorer tier gets all tiles, gridded, gridless and Day and Night variations.
Cartographer tier also gets the Foundry VTT pack with the optimized files and the "Token Attacher" module, so all necessary lights and walls are preconfigured within the tile itself. Alternatively you can import them manually yourself as regular tiles.

Enjoy!

Foundry VTT

The forest have several layers of walls specially designed to work as close as a real forest as possible. The deeper you go into the trees the less you can see. Also, a token from inside the trees can see outside of the forest but the token outside can not see the one inside, so ambushes and hidding in the thickness of the vegetation is easier than ever.
If you don't want to use walls you don't need to import the compendium. Use regular tiles instead. Go to Tile Controls and search "UserData/modules/tda-modular-forest/maps", then drag and drop the tiles you want to start building.
