The Green Teeth
The Guyaba tribe and the jungle have a special connection, they have always been one with nature. They build their houses on top of big mature trees, this protects them from some big predators and from the recurring floods.

Hiding deep in the jungle this tribe has been brewing and drinking the Green Sight potion for generations. It is a green glowy liquid made from a specific type of vine found in the jungle. People say that the spirits gave them the recipe long ago, since then they drink this gooey liquid in shamanic rituals to temporarily ascend to the spiritual world and connect with their ancestors.

The Guyaba tribe has always been isolated, but the increasing demand after the recent discovery of the strong psychedelic effect of this beverage by the rest of the world has converted this peaceful tree village into a brewery, creating hundreds of barrels each week.

Drinking too much of this strong liquor makes your teeth become green, that’s why foreigners call the people of this tribe “The Green Teeth”. For the Guyabas it’s a sign of wisdom and experience, the more you drink, the more you are in contact with the spirits, so the older you grow the greener your teeth.

Plot hook:
Recently people have been reported missing after drinking this potion.
The heroes may go to the village and investigate.

Spoiler alert, read only if you are the GM!
After some investigation in the village you find out that the vines they are using to brew the liquid are no longer what they used to be.
People that drink the potion made with these weird vines become disorientated and get lost in the jungle. The tribe can not stop brewing because of the external pressure from big international companies that sell them in the big cities.
There is an old Guyaba myth about a plant monster made of vines and tentacles that lives between the spirit realm and the real world and eats people in their dreams. They think that the myth may be real and the monster is literally eating people. This monster is called the Yatevo and it may still be in the spiritual world so it can only kill whoever drinks the potion. The Yatevo can step from realm to realm at will, so the only reliable way to face it is to drink the potion or have other ways to access these planes.
Whoever drinks the potion becomes ill and gain a negative effect at the GM's discretion.
