Plot vs Smut in the HP/ASOIAF Crossover Fic? (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

As I'm gearing up to start writing this next fic, I had a question about how much smut vs plot you want in the story. ASOIAF is a massive series with a ton of worldbuilding and lore baked into it, and the way I see it is that there are two ways I could write my story.

1. I could write a longer story (look to my story Power Plays as an example) with richer writing on the ASOIAF world.

2. I could write a shorter story (look at Becoming Harry's Favourite or Cultivating Pleasure as examples) that is more focused on moving from scene to scene without so much worldbuilding.

I'm open to either way of writing it, but I'd like your opinions on the matter. Think of a longer story as being something in the 150k+ word range while a shorter story would be in the 50-150k word range.

Additionally, I'm looking for a gauge on frequent you want the smut to be. Is it every 1-2 chapters (like Cultivating Pleasure) or is it every 3-4+ chapters (like Power Plays)?

Please do keep in mind that this is just me looking for your opinions and not me setting hard limits on what the story will be like. Ultimately, I will write what I want to write. For example, even if I structured my work as a longer story with infrequent smut, there may be times where there are 2 smut chapters in a row.
