Yeah... I'm not on board with this ship. They both just have so many hang-ups and poor communication. The way it went down with Sei was so much more ideal because he has a way of getting people to open up and respecting that people's desires and needs don't always align. His way doesn't get so messy like this. It just works or it doesn't and nobody gets all that hurt over the outcome. I think Seki can use more of that peace in his life right now. He's already been swallowed whole by his emotions. Getting swept up in another whirlwind just isn't on Seki's to-do list. That being said, all the hottest/ deepest/ passionate/ real relationships that have the power to outshine a first love......... they're all messy. So who am I to say he shouldn't go for it.

I'm having trouble sympathizing with Sato tbh and maybe its because I literally just did a full reread of the story but the last time they saw eachother in the comic sato was all over some random girl right in front of sekis face.. seki didn't care but even that is telling of how they both saw their 'relationship' with eachother.. neither of them cared
