A Bear Paw is what happens when a large surge of magic energy hits a cactus and gains free will. As a result you have a non hostile plant monster that likes hugs. Unfortunately it's still a cactus and being stuck with a bunch of needles hurts a LOT. Though there are some benefits to having one of these guys. Not only are they super friendly, but they make excellent scouts for water in the desert. Not only that, but they can store up to 20 gallons of water at a time.
