The Great Patreon Adventure! As I'm calling it at the moment! Call it a mid-life crisis, call it a much needed break from China, call it fulfilling a childhood dream, call it what you will but it's happening!

I'm coming to America (again) on the 5th of November (Guy Fawkes Day), buying an old corvette off of Craigslist and spending a month and a half driving around as many states as I can meeting as many Patreons as possible! And I'll be making as professional a documentary about it as I can. I hope to feature you all on there (but if you're camera shy and don't want to be on camera, no problem)

Air ticket is bought and paid for, I'm in the process of renewing my Chinese drivers license (and I've checked I can use it in most states as long as I have it officially translated), I'm coming solo although Sasha will be joining me near the end of the trip and we'll be celebrating Christmas together with C-milk and his family.

It will be me, a car, a few changes of clothes, camera gear and a lot of stories! I'll be bringing something special from China for each and every one of you.

I understand that not all of you live in America, but the vast majority of you do, so that's why I've decided to go this route!

Send me an email to: winston.sterzel@gmail.com with the subject "Patreon Adventure" so that I can make plans to come to your area, I will be mapping my route out based on this feedback! Thank you all!

P.S I'll be on a shoestring budget, so if anyone has a spare room or spare couch etc that I can crash on for a night along the way, I'd appreciate that too!

- Stay Awesome y'all

I am in the San Francisco Bay area in California. Can't put you up for the night (have a small house and a young son that hates to sleep) but can give guidance on greater northern California, places to see, eat and drink. Would love to buy you a beer or 5. If you are driving up the California coast be sure to stop in the area here. https://www.treesofmystery.net/paul-babe.php Its a bit of a tourist trap but pretty harmless. Local flavor galore. No matter when you go there is always someone getting their picture taken holding up babe the blue ox's balls... Yes this really happens, here is an example https://julesfredrick.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/dsc02427.jpg just the thing to do i guess. Hope you are taking the southern route across the country, northern route is a bit treacherous in winter... particularly in a corvette. You really should have gone for something a little more boring with all wheel drive. You will encounter snow even on the southern route across the country. For god's sake get good car insurance and a AAA membership for roadside assistance. https://calstate.aaa.com/membership/join-aaa/choose-a-plan Would gladly buy you a membership if you have not already made arrangements. it is an absolute lifesaver for such a massive trip as this. Best of luck
