The China vs. America video is up, and I'm glad! There has been a lot of predicted bickering in the comments, especially from my Chinese subscribers, but that's to be understood, I don't  blame them and it's simply a part of modern China, if you say anything negative at all about China (in this case I mentioned the violent crime that is very real here and have seen with my own eyes) then they will immediately go on the defensive and it devolves into a tit for tat argument "China is polluted... well  England and America were more polluted before so there!"  that sort of nonsense, I get frustrated  when people can't simply say  yes, it's broken, it sucks, let's fix it or how can I fix it? Rather than, yes it's broken but yours is broken worse nya nya! I am however very happy with all the positive feedback I've  received too from both my foreign and Chinese subscribers. I truly enjoyed my trip to the  USA and certainly plan to go there  again when the opportunity arises.

I'm going to have to make a video soon to explain why lately my videos have been leaning a little towards the negative, and it's not because I hate China, on the contraty, I am grateful for the opportunity and adventure that China has afforded me and absolutely love the people here (for the most part if I ignore some of the bad habits and lack of general compassion) it's because lately China has really disappointed  me in many ways, not the people on a whole, but  the way that  it is becoming less free and forward thinking, the way that it has very rapidly in recent  months actually started to close  back down and withdraw, like a flower that just before full bloom, decided it was time to close up again and hide it's true beauty from the world, exposing only its ugly exterior.

I don't want to get too deeply  into this, but I just wanted to say an honest thank you to each and every one of you who watch my videos and support me. And it's not all about doom and gloom! There  are still many opportunities and good things about China to share with all of  you, I have  a really nice video planned for next week and can't wait  to share it with you all!

As always guys...

Stay Awesome!

No, they're just too sensitive. Winston, that's a good thing though, the more strange/varied/upset comments get, the larger your subscribers are and the more people you are reaching! Keep it going!! Thanks for all your videos.

I've lived in Beijing for 9.5 years and just decided to moved back to taiwan. I've had the same feeling. China has became more and more negative on almost every way. ...
