The Chinese new year madness has come and gone, the firecrackers still occasionally crackle off in the distance in the middle of the night, but it's time for everyone to get back to work and wake up from their dreamy dumpling-filled holidays and face the horrible reality that it's time to get back down to brass-tacks (that is if they're not still stuck in massive traffic jams on the way back from their home-towns). I for one had a pretty good holiday, I managed to still get my videos out and still go up to Huizhou to do the Adventure talk show on two wheels with C-milk in between travelling to and from my fiancé's family dinners and lunches and all that.

So, the new year is here and I have some exciting things on the way (I'll be going to Japan for the first time for 10 days at the end of March) Get ready for some fantastic videos from that outing, I also have a Taiwan vs. Mainland video that I've been agonising over how to release without it being viewed in any way political (it will be like my India video). As well as some Exciting new ideas and hopefully I can continue to improve the quality of my videos! I'm also getting back into street photography, so look out for more "Friday Fives" or "Saturday Sixes" or whatever other nonsense names I come up with, basically I just enjoy sharing some of the interesting things I see when walking the streets of China, and I hope you guys can get something out of them too.

Please let me know what video topics you'd like to see me cover (it doesn't need to be China related) as I would like as always to give you, my patreons, the best value that I can, and by value I mean I'd like to make videos that you would really like to see.

Happy Chinese new year every one and let's make the year of the Monkey a fantastic one!

Hey Winston...you'll love Japan. I've been lucky to have visited 4 times. I believe you're up on your Japanese etiquette rules but if you have any questions, just ask (I'm not an expert by any means). May I ask which areas/cities you'll be visiting? Really looking forward to seeing your Japan videos.
