Chinese food in the USA (Patreon)

Since filming the video with my wife about what she misses in China, I realised that she was complaining about not being able to find "bai qie ji" but she had never asked me to find it for her, what had happened is that when her parents were here they had gone to the supermarket, bought chicken and tried to make it at home, they were disappointed that the chicken was too "juicy" and had too much meat on it (not kidding). Chinese chicken is usually tougher and more lean but here in the states the average supermarket chicken is bigger, plumper and especially has large breasts in comparison.
So I did a little search on door-dash for a Cantonese style restaurant and ordered some "bai qie ji" (Called Emperor Chicken here) and she loved it and said it was really authentic. I suspected as much since I did that Documentary with C-milk called "Quest for the Best Chinese food in the USA"watch it here if you missed it: https://youtu.be/tzRTlnx0MCc
And we found loads of incredibly authentic Chinese food up and down the West Coast of the USA.
Either way I'm glad I found one of the things she was missing from home
