Not a long post today guys, but I wanted to mention briefly just how difficult it can be to have a cross-cultural marriage and relationship, even with my 14 years of living in China and understanding the language and culture very well I too face difficult challenges weekly in my relationship with Sasha.

Don't get  me wrong, there's nothing bothering me at present and I absolutely love my wife, the thing is with a baby on the way certain cultural conflicts that have until now not been addressed will now have to be discussed and agreed on.

I see this as a good opportunity to share with you all some of the cultural differences and challenges that come along with dating or marrying someone from an Asian culture (you'll find similar clashes with most Asian cultures and not just Chinese) and look forward to some of the upcoming videos that I can make.

As for this week's early release, come find out if it's a good idea to teach ESL or not:

Hope you enjoy it and have a fantastic weekend!

One area our Chinese spouses are very weak in is reading minds, especially foreign ones.

Chinese did not learn how to be empathic. This is a foreign concept. I am married to a beautiful Chinese woman who is still learning how to love. She still thinks getting a a glass of water is love.
